About the role

Foxbar Falls Campground is seeking a Campground Allrounder to join our team at our location in Amiens, QLD 4380. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing an essential service to our guests. As a campground allrounder, you will assist management staff as required, including front office duties, cleaning, grounds maintenance, firewood preparation and guest assistance, making you a key contributor to the team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, meeting people from all walks of life, and takes pride in maintaining high standards across all aspects of campground operation.

Key responsibilities (some or all of below, depending on your strengths and experience)

Assist front desk operations including guest check-ins, reservations and enquiry handling

Provide warm, welcoming and professional customer service to all guests, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly

Perform general grounds maintenance including lawn mowing and rubbish removal

Assist with the splitting and bagging of firewood

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all communal facilities including toilets and showers

Assist guests with amenity information, activity recommendations and general campground orientation

Process payments and manage cash handling with accuracy

Follow all health, safety and environmental protocols

What we're looking for

Down-to-earth nature

Honesty and reliability

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests

Practical skills in grounds maintenance and general facility upkeep

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual tasks including cleaning and heavy lifting (up to 20kg)

Reliability and punctuality, with availability on Fridays and Saturdays (may suit semi-retiree)

Basic IT skills for email, booking systems and POS systems

A flexible approach to work and willingness to undertake varied duties

Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one

Manual valid driver's licence

Skidsteer, excavator or chainsaw tickets (desirable)
