We are currently seeking experienced Welders for immediate starts across a range of major workshop roles for a family owned business in the Brisbane area

We have casual opportunities available with option to go fulltime, offering consistent hours, ongoing work, and long-term career opportunities for the right candidates.

These positions are ideally suited to candidates with MIG experience in structural steel, fabrication, and construction who are confident working in workshop environments. You do not need trade qualifications.

Key Duties

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
• Measuring, marking, and preparing materials for fabrication
• Cutting, grinding, and preparing steel components
• Performing MIG welding to complete fabrication and repair work
• Fabricating and assembling structural steel, plate, pipe, and metal components
• Operating workshop equipment, including welders, grinders, drills, bandsaws, and cutting equipment
• Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Repairing and modifying existing steel components and equipment
• Maintaining workshop tools and equipment
