(A) Job Summary:
The Project M&E Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works for LTA projects. The role ensures M&E installations are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, LTA requirements, and project schedules while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise M&E works to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Coordinate with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on M&E design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and technical documents.
Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works comply with project specifications, LTA requirements, and statutory regulations.
Coordinate interface works between M&E, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
Resolve technical issues, construction clashes, and site coordination matters.
Supervise testing, commissioning, inspections, and system handover.
Ensure compliance with QA/QC, WSH, environmental, and project quality standards.
Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, as-built drawings, and project handover documents.
Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager.
(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination for LTA or major infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, testing and commissioning, and authority requirements.
Familiar with LTA specifications, Singapore Standards, and statutory regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
