Responsibilities
Deliver professional dog training services, including obedience training, behavioural modification, socialisation, and enrichment programs tailored to individual dogs. Deliver group training classes
Assess canine behaviour and temperament, identifying behavioural issues and implementing effective, humane training strategies.
Educate and support pet owners with training techniques, behaviour management, and ongoing care plans.
Ensure all training activities are conducted in a safe, controlled, and welfare-focused environment.
Collaborate with grooming and daycare teams to ensure consistency in handling and behavioural standards across the business.

Main Tasks
Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions for dogs of varying breeds, ages, and behavioural needs.
Develop customised training plans for dogs with behavioural challenges such as anxiety, reactivity, or poor socialisation.
Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate training records using the business management system.
Provide clear guidance and coaching to owners to reinforce training outcomes at home.
Maintain a structured, calm, and safe training environment aligned with animal welfare and workplace safety regulations.
Assist in developing and selling training programs, workshops, and educational materials for clients and staff.

Hours
We can be flexible on hours for the right candidate. A preferred average of 38hrs per week is offered; however, this role can be adjusted if necessary to suit your schedule.
