The Role:
In this role, you will support two senior Partners and their team within a fast-paced Corporate M&A practice. The team is known for being collaborative, professional and high-performing.
You will be proficient in the following responsibilities:
- Drafting, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Managing inboxes and correspondence, prioritising key communications
- File and matter management including opening, maintaining, closing and archiving files
- Billing and timesheet management, including end-of-month billing, WIP reporting and expenses
- Diary and travel management, coordinating meetings and client events
- Liaising with clients, internal stakeholders and external parties
- Assisting with transaction closings, document execution and corporate administration
- General administrative and team support
Do you have the following skillset?
- 3+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant within a top-tier, mid-tier or boutique law firm supporting Corporate, Commercial, Banking & Finance or M&A teams
- Strong billing and matter management experience using systems such as Elite 3E, Aderant and iManage
- Proficiency with legal technology and AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot, CoCounsel, Harvey AI or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with exceptional document formatting abilities
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with Partners, lawyers and clients
