At Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are looking for a passionate Rooms Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Housekeeping and Front Office department.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives on developing teams, driving performance and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing:

  • Lead the daily operations of Housekeeping and Front Office departments to ensure efficient operations, to deliver a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.
  • Inspire, coach and develop department leaders and team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure brand standards, service quality and presentation are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, responding proactively to feedback and implementing service improvements.
  • Drive departmental performance through effective rostering, labour management and productivity initiatives.
  • Analyse operational results and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and profitability.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Previous leadership experience managing hotel rooms operations, including Front Office and Housekeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards and hotel systems - Opera Cloud experience is mandatory.
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys developing people and building engaged teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance guest satisfaction and business performance.
  • Proven ability to adapting to operational needs.
