Workforce International are seeking a skilled Formworker/Carpenter to join our team in Tomago. Our client supplies to a wide range of industries including civil infrastructure, communications, building and construction. This role might suit someone who has previous experience as a formworker in a similar space - Trade qualification desired however not essential.

$45.00-$51.19/hour + applicable penalties

Immediate start for the right candidate

Casual position with potential for permanency after a qualifying period

5 days per week with optional Saturday shifts

What you'll be doing

Assembling, erecting, and dismantling concrete forms

Ensuring forms are properly braced, aligned, and secured

Assisting with concrete pours and general labour

Reading and interpreting plans and drawings

Dismantling and removing formwork safely

Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification in carpentry highly desired however not required

Demonstrated experience in formwork carpentry

Ability to read and work to plans/technical drawings

MUST have an OH&S Construction Induction card (White Card)

MUST have the ability to pass a functional assessment including drug and alcohol screening

Strong practical skills and the ability to work with a range of hand and power tools

A keen focus on safety and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
