Currently undergoing an exciting growth phase, we’re looking to onboard a top calibre personal injury lawyer with some Historical Child Sex Abuse law (HSA) experience.

YOUR NEW ROLE
In this KEY role, reporting to and being mentored by the team leader+ access to an accredited specialist Litigation Director, in this winning vibrant team, you will love the challenge+ stimulation+ fulfilment of fighting for full justice for your plaintiff clients in Institutional/Historical Child Sexual Abuse cases across multiple jurisdictions Australia-wide (not just NSW).

If you desire some variety, the firm is happy to accommodate you with a ‘mixed’ role consisting of majority HSA PLUS any 1 or more of CTP/public liability/workers compensation/work injury damages/medical negligence (subject to your experience/interest).

You will have full-spectrum carriage of your own files-obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence, legal research, providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim, liaising with solicitors and doctors, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:

are an admitted solicitor with MINIMUM 2 years PAE (or MORE) hands-on personal injury law experience (including minimum 12 months+ specifically in institutional/historical abuse law);

have a serious genuine interest in practising in the HSA niche [ESSENTIAL];

have strong technical legal research/drafting +negotiation+ advocacy skills with high attention to detail;

are client-centric +proactive+deadline driven;
