About The Role

Axis Social is a specialist direct response Meta and Google advertising agency.

We're searching for a talented Meta Ads Creative Strategist to join our wonderful distributed Aussie team in a remote work from anywhere role!

Responsibilities

✓ Develop performance-focused creative strategy across our internal lead gen and client brands, identifying target customer profiles and advertising angles for each of our trade verticals (solar, batteries, energy, air conditioning, and more)

✓ Maintain a consistent pipeline of new creative concepts informed by market research, lead outcome data, and best practices from leading direct-response advertisers

✓ Produce performance-driven creative assets (static and video) at scale, briefing our internal project manager and creative panel, or producing hands-on yourself where that's faster.

✓ Use data-driven analysis to measure creative performance and guide future development, working from metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CPL, and lead quality feedback

Requirements

You will be perfect for this role if you have:

✓ Proven experience and success in a similar creative strategy role. You'll have developed creative for six-figure-plus monthly Meta budgets (ideally lead generation for trades) with results you can show and explain

✓ Deep working knowledge of direct response advertising best practices, with the ability to break down exactly what makes high-performing paid social creative work

✓ Excellent research and copywriting skills across advertorials, hooks, headlines and scripts. Creative that converts is the core skill of this role.

✓ A data-driven mentality with the ability to analyse and interpret creative performance data to guide what gets made next

✓ Experience with AI content workflows (image generation, AI video, rapid iteration tooling) will be highly regarded, and you'll have full access to our internal AI tools
