Machine Operator / Forklift Operator - Training Provided
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a motivated Machine Operator / Forklift Operator to join a growing manufacturing company based in Wetherill Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a forklift licence who is looking to develop their machine operating skills and progress into a higher position.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Start Time: 6:00am
- Starting Rate: $33.01/h
- Training Period: Approximately 2-3 weeks
About the Role
The successful candidate will initially be trained to operate machinery used to process carpet underlay. Once training has been successfully completed, they will transition into a Forklift Operator position with an increase in pay to $44.01 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating machinery to process carpet underlay
- Loading and handling machinery and materials
- Performing manual handling and physical duties as required
- Driving Counterbalance forklifts to move stock throughout the warehouse and load/unload trucks
- Loading and unloading materials
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You
- Current forklift licence is essential
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and loading machinery and materials
- Reliable and committed to ongoing work
- Willing to learn and undertake machine operating training
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous machine operating experience is not essential, as full training will be provided
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
