Fitter & Turner – Toolroom & Maintenance

The Role

Working within our Toolroom & Maintenance team, you'll:

Maintain, repair and fault-find production machinery and equipment

Manufacture, modify and repair tooling, jigs, fixtures and machine components

Operate manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and workshop equipment

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Assist with machinery installations, tooling changes and commissioning

Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

Identify improvement opportunities to increase reliability and efficiency

Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and workmanship

About You

You'll bring:

Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner

Experience in manufacturing, industrial or production environments

Strong mechanical fault-finding skills

Experience using conventional machine shop equipment

Ability to read engineering drawings

Pride in producing quality work

A practical, positive approach and willingness to work as part of a team

Experience maintaining production machinery and manufacturing or modifying tooling will be highly regarded.
