About the role

Australian Fruit Juice (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Packer cum Driver to join our operations team in the Chin Bee West Region. This is a full-time position that combines both packing and driving responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-faceted role within the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector. You will play a vital part in ensuring our products are efficiently packed and delivered to customers, directly contributing to the success of our distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

As a Packer cum Driver, your key responsibilities will include:

Packing fruit juice products and related items according to quality standards and customer specifications

Ensuring all packages are correctly labelled, sealed and prepared for dispatch

Operating and maintaining packing equipment to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime

Conducting basic quality checks on packed items before they leave the facility

Driving delivery vehicles to transport packed products to designated customers and distribution points

Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and obtaining customer signatures or confirmations

Performing vehicle pre-delivery inspections and reporting any mechanical issues

Assisting with the loading and unloading of products from vehicles

Adhering to all safety protocols, company policies and relevant transport regulations

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment in both the packing and vehicle areas

What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

A valid driving license appropriate for the vehicles used in our operations

Previous experience as a packer or in a similar packing role within a manufacturing or logistics environment

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving capacity

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packing specifications accurately

Ability to work efficiently and meet production or delivery targets

Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling of products

Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and willingness to comply with all health and safety regulations

Preferred: Experience with fruit juice products or food and beverage industry

Preferred: Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software
