Electrician – BMS / HVAC / Security

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot a diverse range of complex systems. Your daily work will bridge the gap between mechanical electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) building automation, and high-security infrastructure. This position requires a solutions-oriented professional who thrives in high-security environments and possesses strong technical problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain HVAC Controls: Diagnose, repair, and optimize building automation systems (BAS) and electronic control loops.

Service Electrical Assets: Test, fault-find, and repair mechanical electrical plant, switchboards, and associated control circuitry.

Support Security Infrastructure: Install large-scale, high-security access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.

Ensure Strict Compliance: Execute all works in alignment with strict site security protocols, safety regulations, and building codes.

Provide Technical Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to commission new installations and perform routine preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

Trade Qualification: Relevant trade background as an Electrician.

Industry Experience: Proven track in learning new skills and the willingness to take on new knowledge in various fields within the electrical and security trade.

Security System Expertise: Preferred but not required.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain or maintain a high-level government or commercial security clearance is mandatory.

Valid Driver’s Licence: Current, unrestricted manual driver’s licence for travel between client sites.
