ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for a highly capable financial accountant or business services first mover to join a broad scoping role reporting directly into a Finance Manager and working across the business as well as with SLT.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including journal preparation, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Support statutory reporting requirements, liaising with external auditors and advisers as needed
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, identifying opportunities for process improvement across the finance function
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support commercial decision-making
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insight and support broader business initiatives

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• CA/CPA Qualified
• Business services background is highly regarded
• Hands on and in the detail approach
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Motivated and ambitious
