What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

Degree qualifications in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, with experience in civil engineering design and construction.

Demonstrated experience in the design of roads, drainage and associated civil infrastructure projects.

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related engineering design software.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.

Experience preparing technical specifications, tender documentation and evaluating contractor submissions.

Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, authorities, colleagues and community members.

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $96,410.60 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
