Are you a Senior Business Services Accountant ready to take the next step in your public practice career?

Many Senior Accountants become technically strong but are looking for greater client ownership, stronger advisory exposure and a genuine pathway into leadership.

You'll join an established Canberra advisory firm where you'll manage a portfolio of SME clients, work directly with experienced Managers and Partners, and continue building the advisory skills needed to progress toward Manager.

You'll be joining a collaborative team that values quality work, strong client relationships and investing in the long-term success of its people.

The Opportunity
You'll play an important role in delivering accounting and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, including:

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
• Providing proactive business advisory support
• Assisting with tax planning and strategic client conversations
• Building trusted relationships with business owners
• Working closely with Managers and Partners on complex client matters
• Reviewing work completed by junior accountants
• Identifying opportunities to add value beyond compliance

About You
You'll ideally have:

• 3+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
• Strong Business Services and Tax experience
• Experience managing or assisting with a client portfolio
• CA/CPA qualified or currently completing your studies
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in advisory work
• The ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining quality
