We have partnered with a Tier 1 national contractor who has been awarded the full Balance of Plant scope for a Major Wind Farm 200km north of Adelaide. With construction ramping up, we are looking for a site-based Safety Advisor to join the owner's team on a permanent, long-term basis.

Early mobilisation is already underway. If you are travelling in, full on-site camp accommodation is provided. If you are a local living within a 30-40 minute radius of the site, you have the option to commute daily and go home each night.

What's on Offer
  • Project: Balance of Plant scope for a major 256MW utility-scale wind farm
  • Client: Tier 1 National Infrastructure Contractor
  • Location: Georgetown, SA (Mid North region / 2 hours from Adelaide)
  • Roster: 2/1 roster (Tuesday in / Wednesday out)
  • Package: $125k base + Super + 20% site uplift + laptop, phone, daily meal allowances & site vehicle access

What you'll be doing

Reporting directly to the on-site HSE Manager, you will be on the ground driving a proactive safety culture across a large project footprint.

Your daily focus will include:

  • Coaching operational teams, reviewing SWMS, issuing Authority to Work Permits (ATWPs) and coordinating site inductions and pre-starts
  • Experience working on civil construction sites with heavy machinery
  • An understanding of environmental factors on site including dust, waterways, local flora & fauna
  • Spending time in the field auditing high-risk work processes, site documentation and equipment
  • Ensuring all incidents and near-misses are accurately recorded in Lucidity and properly closed out
  • Conducting scheduled internal HSE audits and helping the project team prepare for third-party IMS reviews

What you'll need

We need practical, collaborative advisors who can partner with operational teams but also hold their own when dealing with contractors and project stakeholders.

  • Minimum 2-5 years in a dedicated HSE practitioner role.
  • Experience on site-based civil, construction, or major electrical/renewables projects is highly regarded
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety is essential
  • Valid C-Class driver's license is required
  • Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of risk registers and on-site compliance
  • Experience in ICAM incident investigation training or a Return to Work Coordinator certificate will move you to the front of the queue
