Data Test Analyst

Location - Melbourne / Hybrid
Rate - $800 - $900 p.d.
Duration - 3 month contract + extensions

A major Australian brand is rebuilding the data layer behind its platform and needs a tester who treats it as engineering work, not a box tick. You'll validate transformations across the warehouse, extend a live dbt test suite, and raise issues straight against the PR.

The role

• Reconciliation SQL across warehouse layers
• Build and extend dbt tests, including custom tests
• Review PRs and raise issues at the point of change
• Validate warehouse models for correct grain

What you'll bring

• Strong SQL, BigQuery dialect
• dbt fundamentals and dbt testing
• Layered warehouse modelling experience
• Insurance or claims data a bonus, not essential
