HVAC Site Engineer | Tier I Mechanical Contractor Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 + Super (Negotiable on Experience)

We're partnering with a highly regarded Tier I HVAC contractor that continues to secure some of the country's most technically challenging commercial projects. Due to continued project growth, they're looking to appoint a Site Engineer to join their delivery team and work alongside experienced Project Managers on major projects from installation through to commissioning and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on site, solving problems, coordinating trades and learning from some of the industry's best project delivery professionals.

The Role
Reporting to an experienced Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of major HVAC projects by assisting with day-to-day site engineering activities including:

• Supporting the project team with site engineering and commissioning activities
• Completing QA/QC inspections and ensuring work is delivered to specification
• Preparing project documentation including RFIs, ITPs, commissioning records and site reports
• Attending site and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Assisting with defect management and resolving on-site technical issues
• Coordinating mechanical subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring installation progress against programme
• Supporting project handover and client close-out documentation

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience working for a mechanical HVAC contractor
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
• Strong understanding of commercial mechanical services installations
• Exposure to QA/QC processes, commissioning and project documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with site teams, subcontractors and clients
• Full Australian working rights
