About the Business

Our client is a well-established and growing engineering consultancy specialising in remedial engineering, façade remediation and building envelope projects across Sydney.

The business has built an excellent reputation through technical expertise, long-term client relationships and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes. Their project portfolio includes remedial, façade and structural rehabilitation projects ranging from approximately $2 million through to $15 million+, working with strata managers, body corporates, commercial property owners, government clients and asset managers.

Assist in developing drafting standards, libraries and technical procedures.

Coordinate documentation across multiple projects and deadlines.

Undertake site inspections and verify existing structural details where required.

Work closely with clients and project teams to ensure project requirements are achieved.

Identify opportunities to improve drafting systems, workflows and technical processes.

About You

To be successful in this position, you'll ideally have:

Minimum 6-8 years' experience in structural or remedial drafting.

Advanced AutoCAD experience (2D & 3D).

Experience producing structural and construction documentation.

Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber construction.

Previous exposure to remedial engineering or façade remediation projects will be highly regarded.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality documentation.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and clients.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines.

A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to mentor and support junior team members.

Highly regarded:

Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Experience leading or mentoring drafting teams.

Experience undertaking site inspections and preparing technical reports.

White Card and current driver's licence.

Why Join?

Opportunity to step into a genuine technical leadership position.

Collaborative, supportive and highly experienced engineering team.

Long-term career progression as the business continues to grow.
