About the Role: We’re seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Sandvik trucks, drills, and loaders
• CAT graders
• Volvo integrated tool carriers

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Conducting preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Working on a variety of underground mining equipment, including:
  
• Scoping jobs and accurately estimating time, materials, and resource requirements
• Collaborating closely with shift supervisors, mechanics, and other underground personnel

What We’re Looking For:

• A Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification recognised in Australia (essential)
• At least 2 years’ post-trade experience in underground mining or related industries (e.g. agriculture, civil, construction)
• A manual driver’s licence (essential) and relevant RPLs to operate underground vehicles
• Solid knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures, and safe handling of explosives
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and maintenance skills
• Capability to work in confined spaces and handle physically demanding conditions
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol screening
• National Police Clearance within the last 6 months required for this role
