We are seeking reliable APHRA Registered Nurses to join our casual pool to cover leave, sick leave and assist with various client site programs.

Who are we?
IMMEX is a specialised occupational medicine and injury management practice that has some of the major private and public companies in NSW as its valued clients. Some services we provide are: Pre Employment medicals, Injury Treatment, Health Surveillance, Health and Wellbeing programs and more.

Our clinics are located at Waterloo, Parramatta, Wetherill Park and Rooty Hill. We also have a general medical centre at Mascot. All clinics are close to public transport, either train or bus. You must be prepared to go to any of these clinics, as you are required.

We are open Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. There is no shift or weekend work required.

The sorts of things you would be doing:

Assisting treating injured workers - cleaning wounds; applying/changing dressings; setting up and assisting with minor procedures/suturing

Taking biometrics in pre-employment and health surveillance medicals - height; weight; blood pressure; urinalysis; vision/colour vision; ECG; spirometry; audiometry; drug and alcohol testing; taking bloods

Immunisations - Hep A/B; flu; tetanus

Client site projects - audiometry; immunisation; health checks; health fairs

What we need you to have:

You MUST have and provide with your application:

Current registration with AHPRA

Current CPR certificate

Also highly desirable:

Current immunisation certificate that allows you to administer vaccinations at a client site without a doctor nearby on the premises or be willing to get your immunisation certificate.

Your own reliable transport and a valid NSW driver's licence

You will also have the following skills:

Understand infection control and safe storage and transportation of vaccines

Present professionally

Excellent verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Be well organised, punctual and reliable

To some degree, we will be able to fit in with your availability.
