Marketing Production Assistant
3 days per week | Sydney-based | Immediate start available
Growth Potential is looking for a practical, fast-moving Marketing Production Assistant to join our small team 3 days per week.
This is a hands-on marketing role focused on producing social content, campaign assets and practical marketing outputs for Growth Potential and a range of our business clients.
This role would suit someone early in their marketing career, studying marketing, media, communications or design, or looking for a practical first step into a hands-on marketing role. You do not need years of experience. You do need to be keen to learn, comfortable with content tools, and excited by the opportunity to build real skills inside a small, supportive marketing team.
About us
Growth Potential is a business coaching and advisory firm that helps SME business owners build stronger, more profitable and sustainable businesses.
Over time, we have recognised that one of the biggest gaps for many businesses is consistent marketing execution. They know they need to stay visible, produce content, run campaigns and generate opportunities, but they often do not have the time, structure or internal resources to make it happen properly.
That is where our team helps.
We support selected clients with practical marketing execution, including social media content, website updates, campaign assets, paid advertising support, outbound marketing and other activity that helps them stay visible and grow.
About the role
This is not a senior strategy role. It is not a pure design role. It is a practical production role for someone who likes getting things done.
You will help turn marketing ideas, client messaging, Canva templates, images and video assets into finished content ready for review, approval and publishing.
A major part of the role will be helping prepare social content, especially LinkedIn posts, static graphics, carousels, Canva assets and SocialPilot drafts. You will also help with campaign content, basic video and podcast-related assets, simple website updates and reporting inputs.
The strategy, messaging and creative direction will usually be provided by the team. Your role is to help assemble, adapt, prepare and produce the work.
What you will be doing
Preparing LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook content using supplied messaging, templates, images and video assets
Creating static posts, carousels, quote graphics, testimonial posts and educational content
Applying copy and messaging to professionally designed Canva templates
Loading draft content into SocialPilot for review and approval
Supporting campaign content production, including simple ad creative, outbound marketing assets and campaign materials
Assisting with basic video and podcast-related content, including reels, thumbnails, captions and short clips
Supporting simple website and digital content updates
Using AI tools to help speed up content formatting, repurposing, caption drafting and repetitive production tasks
You’ll be supported. Nothing will be published without senior review and approval.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Fast, practical and reliable
Organised and good at getting things finished
Visually aware, with a good eye for layout and presentation
Confident using Canva
Comfortable working from templates and brand guidelines
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar
Good with written and spoken English
Positive, easygoing and comfortable working in a small team
You do not need to be a senior designer or marketing strategist. You do need to be someone who can take direction, work quickly, produce clean work and keep things moving.
Helpful skills
Experience with any of the following would be helpful, but not essential:
SocialPilot or other social media scheduling tools
Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn company pages
CapCut, Descript, Adobe Creative Suite or Adobe Premiere Pro
Duda or WordPress
Monday.com, HubSpot or Pipedrive
Basic Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads support
Short-form video editing
Working with small business clients
This role would suit someone who
Wants a 3-day-per-week marketing role
Enjoys practical marketing execution
Likes producing finished work
Can work quickly through a task list
Has a good eye for whether something looks right
Is happy using templates, systems and AI tools
Wants broad experience across multiple businesses
Likes being part of a small, busy and supportive team
Why join Growth Potential?
This is an amazing opportunity for someone keen to learn in an environment that enables them to grow, gain skills and build practical marketing knowledge.
You will get exposure to multiple businesses, industries, content styles and marketing activities. You will not be limited to one brand or one type of task.
You will work alongside a small team with experience across business strategy, marketing, design, video, websites, content production and AI-assisted workflows.
We value progress, initiative, practical output and a positive attitude.
