About the role

Manufacturing Engineering Support role assisting Product Manufacturing Engineers to execute operation preparation tickets in PLM/SAP applications. The role involves defining and creating manufacturing procedures, build sequences, methods, and quality documentation according to material and assembly specifications, with on-site validation of procedures and revisions with manufacturing product lines.

Key responsibilities

Assist Product Manufacturing Engineer to execute operation preparation tickets in PLM/SAP application

Define and create manufacturing procedures, build sequence, methods, and quality documentation including work instructions, test procedures, and inspection checklists according to material and assembly specifications

Conduct on-site validation to validate draft version of the procedure and upload revision with manufacturing product lines

Create and maintain OMS Pro documentation based on building block configuration of product modules, assembly sequence of chambers, frame assembly, vacuum lines, brackets and plates, and installation of electrical components

Create and maintain electrical harness cable routing OMS according to electrical schematics, cable patch list and single wire list

Create and maintain Test Work Instructions based on Test building block of product modules and product testing sequence

Assist product Manufacturing Engineer to develop jigs/fixtures design in 3D/2D applications

Support implementation of timely solutions for suppliers, contract manufacturing, and internal manufacturing by liaising with cross-functional teams in Global Operations and Business Units

Support execution of continuous improvement projects on quality, cost, capacity, and efficiency enhancement with cross functional teams

Work with Product Manufacturing Engineer to deliver tooling and test equipment according to product requirements

About you

Diploma or Bachelor of engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering

Industrial experience in Engineering or Manufacturing field is a plus

Microsoft office skills, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling experience using PTC Creo

Experience with SAP PLM and/or major ERP/MRP systems and processes at user level will be a plus

Able to understand 2D drawings, 3D models, and validate GD&T

Able to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics

Able to write simple procedures and create checklists

Familiar with operational excellence tools: Lean manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Problem solving

Details oriented with ability to analyze data and come to conclusions, communicate with team, and manage time effectively

Able to work independently without much guidance
