About us

Ascent Speech Pathology is a leading provider of speech pathology services dedicated to helping only adults achieve their communication and swallowing goals. We are a small but currently growing team in our new location at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital.

This role is for a speech pathologist who

Wants to work with adults only no paediatrics, ever.

Has experience (or a strong interest) in voice disorders and progressive neurological conditions.

Is self-driven and confident managing their own caseload, backed by structured support.

Values genuine clinical depth over volume you'll build real relationships with your clients over time.

Will service both in clinic and home visits.

Caseload: Building to approx. 25 client-facing hours/week, scaled to your experience.

What we are looking for

A degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.

Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership.

NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Current National Police Check.

Comfortable driving your own caseload, with structured support behind you.

Experience with voice disorders and/or progressive neurology (e.g. Parkinson's, MND, dementia).

A genuine excitement about working exclusively with adults.

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for the adult population.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, families and colleagues.

Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.
