Concentric Concepts is a Queensland-based, Veteran owned security and protective services company supporting industry, government, and critical infrastructure environments.

We are currently expanding our casual workforce to support ongoing site operations and upcoming project requirements across the mining sector.

The Role

We are seeking professional and reliable security personnel to support operations within a mining environment near Dysart on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster.

The role involves a combination of 12-hour day and night shifts within a structured, safety-focused site environment where professionalism, reliability, and compliance are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Site access control, gatehouse operations, and visitor management

• Verification of inductions, competencies, and site entry requirements

• Conducting drug and alcohol testing in line with site procedures

• Traffic management duties including stop/slow operations where required

• Vehicle, personnel, and asset inspections

• Conducting patrols, observations, and incident reporting

• Responding to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures

• Maintaining accurate logs, reports, and shift handovers

• Supporting site safety, security, and emergency response functions

Must Have and Experience

Applicants MUST hold the following qualifications and licensing prior to deployment:

• Current Queensland Security Provider License – Class 1 (Unarmed and Monitoring)

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Standard 11 Generic Induction

• Tier 1 Traffic Control (Stop/Slow) qualification

• Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification (HLTPAT005 or equivalent)

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Current Driver's Licence

• BMA Core Induction (highly regarded)

• Strong communication and written reporting skills

• Professional presentation and reliability

• Ability to work within structured procedures and high-compliance environments

• The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure

• Full Australian working rights

• Previous experience within mining, energy, or critical infrastructure environments

• $55 per hour casual rate inclusive of casual loading
