PROPERTY LEGAL SECRETARY | Brisbane CBD

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary passionate about Property and looking to join a stable mid-sized firm in Brisbane? Read on for a genuinely exciting opportunity for your legal career!

Your New Role:

As a Property Legal Secretary, your day-to-day will include:

Working closely with two Partners and a team of friendly Lawyers

Liaising with clients, solicitors and banks

Performing online searches, typing of contracts, transfer documents and conveyancing letters

Calculating settlement figures and booking in settlements

General file management duties

Attending settlements on occasion

Opening files, closing files and archiving

Typing of miscellaneous correspondence for solicitors

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality of client's details and matters.

About You

Previous experience in Property Law within a law firm

Managing deadlines and client follow-ups

Strong knowledge of PEXA, property transactions and processes

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

A proactive and professional approach

Strong communication and client service skills

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
