IT Support Technician

Location: Near Parramatta, NSW

Work Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + Super (Onsite Parking)

We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated IT Support Technician to join their vibrant on-site team based near Parramatta.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Group IT Manager, you will serve as a central point of contact for technical support across multiple operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st/2nd level support for onsite and remote staff via phone, email, and in person.

Maintain and troubleshoot critical production systems, including ERP software, PCs, laptops, mobile devices, scanners, and label printers.

Support industrial equipment software and collaborate with 3rd-party vendors to resolve complex hardware/software issues.

Conduct regular physical checks of hardware/software and manage equipment registers.

Support network administration, user satisfaction, and SLAs while actively contributing to IT continuous improvement.

About You

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in an IT Helpdesk / Desktop Support role.

Strong technical understanding of Windows/Linux, Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/M365), and mobile platforms.

Solid background in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).

Proven experience supporting industrial equipment software.

Outstanding communication, customer service, and analytical skills.
