Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, facilities and building systems.

Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment faults, maintenance issues and potential safety hazards.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical or facility-related issues to minimise downtime.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, maintenance requests and emergency situations.

Carry out servicing, adjustment, replacement and basic repair of faulty components and parts.

Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs and work orders.

Ensure tools, equipment and spare parts are properly maintained, organised and stored.

Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance and repair works.

Support testing, commissioning and maintenance of new or upgraded equipment where required.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.

Assist in emergency response and recovery works, such as power failures, water leaks, equipment breakdowns and other facility incidents.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, safety and operational efficiency.

Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance Engineering or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in equipment, machinery, facilities or engineering maintenance will be an advantage.

Willing to work overtime, shifts or respond to breakdowns when required.
