SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Group Automation Pte Ltd, a leading marine automation company located in Jurong, is looking for a Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers in conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ship main engine remote control systems and navigation equipment.

Work with ship owners and shipyards according to their working procedures and requirements.

Willing to work at local and overseas shipyards, as well as anchorage environments, at irregular hours, including overnight, weekends, and public holidays, depending on vessel schedules.

Requirements

Relevant marine, mechanical, or engineering qualification.

Sound knowledge of pneumatics and electrical control systems will be an advantage.

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in marine automation.

Able to work in shipyard and vessel environments.

Singaporeans only.

Benefits

Fixed Overtime / Travel Rates:

$12/hour for overseas flight time outside normal working hours (from boarding until arrival at destination)

$26/hour from Monday to Saturday

$35/hour on Sundays and Public Holidays

Normal working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 5-day work week

Transport allowance: $150/month for staff who are not driving a company vehicle

Outstation allowance: $80/day for overseas jobs
