Position Vacant – Rostering Team Leader
Location: North Fremantle, WA
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
Ability in Disability and Kalon Meraki are seeking an experienced, compassionate and highly organised Rostering Team Leader to join our growing team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead rostering across our Registered NDIS Provider, Ability in Disability, and Kalon Meraki, supporting participants with complex disability and high-intensity support needs.
As our Rostering Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring participants receive safe, consistent and high-quality supports through efficient workforce coordination.
About the Role
This permanent position is based from our new North Fremantle office, opening shortly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing daily staff rosters across multiple services.
Responding promptly to roster changes, unplanned leave and participant needs.
Coordinating replacement staff and rescheduling shifts where required.
Participating in an alternating on-call roster (approximately one weekend per month). The on-call component is designed to fit around your normal weekend activities, provided you remain available to respond to roster changes when required.
Completing a variety of administration duties.
Supporting staff while maintaining excellent communication with participants and families.
Working collaboratively with leadership to ensure quality service delivery.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
Previous rostering experience within the NDIS disability or community services sector.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Compassion, empathy and a genuine commitment to supporting people living with disability.
Exceptional reliability with a demonstrated history of dependable attendance and performance.
