Our Client a large Federal Government Department that funds reasonable and necessary supports associated with significant and permanent disability for people, are looking for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer on a long 12 + 12 Month Contract.

Duties of the Lead Cyber Security Engineer:

• Interpret business strategic direction and functional requirements and develop corresponding technologies to enhance the agency’s defensive posture.
• Working collaboratively with internal project teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver key cyber technologies.
• The development and enhancement of orchestration and automation technologies.
• Continual refinement of processes, methods, and technologies to enhance the cyber security posture of the agency.
• Translate technologies into simple processes and mentor junior staff wherever required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Demonstrated experience in a minimum of three of the following - SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modeling, UEBA, PKI administration, CSPM, CNAPP and Enterprise Logging.
• CI/CD IaC - Terraform (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience of working with Cloud environments and technologies - Azure, AWS, SaaS environments
• Familiarity with Government and Industry Cyber frameworks, standards, controls and guidelines - PSPF, ISM, E8, ISO
• Equivalence in comparable technologies and standards will also be considered.
