About the Role
Blooms The Chemist Kingaroy has a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join the team. The position will report to the Owner/Dispensary Manager. This is an opportunity to work as part of an experienced and friendly customer focused team, who offer exceptional service. You will enjoy a busy but stimulating pharmacy environment.
You will be required to work 3-5 days per week equating up to 38 hours weekly, and will involve weekends on a rotational basis. Increased workload may be available to the right applicant.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Your role will focus on:
Manage and prepare Dose Administration Aids for community and residential care customers
Dispensing of prescriptions using DispenseWorks software
Counsel patients with the optimal and safe use of medication
Assist with customer service queries
Process dispensary orders and assist in maintaining dispensary inventory
The successful candidate will possess:

Eye for detail and a level of accuracy suitable for the health industry
Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the pharmacy

Experience and qualifications in Community Pharmacy or a willingness to upskill
