Forklift Operator / Production Worker

Afternoon Shift | Overtime Available | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We're currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role offering stable employment, regular overtime, and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Training will be completed on day shift for the first few weeks before transitioning to a permanent afternoon shift roster.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of forklift operation and physical production work, takes safety seriously, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely move raw materials and finished products throughout the site
• Load, unload and stage materials for production
• Assist with manufacturing and production processes
• Open moulds and remove finished products
• Prepare equipment and materials for upcoming production runs
• Complete quality checks and finishing tasks
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily production targets
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable with a solid work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable

• Experience within manufacturing, production, construction, concrete, warehousing or labouring environments
• Experience handling large or heavy products
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
