The Role
We have multiple part-time Security Guard positions available in Townsville.
In this role you will be working at one of our client’s sites, being a key player in creating a safe and welcoming environment, through proactive patrolling, engaging professionally with residents and visitors, and responding appropriately to incidents. Shift timings are from 22:00 - 06:00.
This role is ideal for a security professional who is patient, respectful and committed to creating a safe environment for members of the community. Key Responsibilities
Conduct foot patrols of the site
Monitor and report security incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity
Respond appropriately to emergency situations following site procedures
Provide professional customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors
Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
Monitor access to the premises and report unauthorized activity
Requirements of the position
Current QLD security providers licence
Possess a command of the English language both verbal and written
Available to work permanent night shifts
Professional presentation
Reliable and punctual
Capable of remaining calm under pressure
