We are looking for a Sea Freight Export Coordinator to join our client's operations team. You will be responsible for coordinating export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, timely shipment processing and smooth communication with customers, shipping lines, overseas offices and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage sea freight export shipments from booking to shipment completion

Register and update shipment information accurately in the forwarding system

Prepare and verify shipping and ocean freight documentation, including House Bill of Lading (HBL) and related documents

Coordinate customer booking requests and follow up on shipment status

Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, subcontractors and customers

Ensure export permits and required documentation are completed accurately and on time

Check and ensure compliance with dangerous goods / hazardous cargo requirements where applicable

Monitor shipment progress and handle operational issues such as delays, short shipments, damages and missed vessels

Coordinate cargo-related claims when required

Verify vendor and intercompany invoices and follow up on discrepancies

Ensure shipment costs and invoicing are updated accurately and within required timelines

Maintain proper shipment records and documentation

Prepare and maintain customer reports and ensure deadlines are met

Follow customer-specific SOPs and company procedures

Provide operational support to team members when required

Requirements:

Min Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding or a related field

Min 1 year freight forwarding experience

Knowledge in ocean export & documentation

Good MS Office skills
