About the Role

As a Credit & Servicing Analyst / Broker Support, you will work closely with brokers and loan processors to analyse client financial information, assess borrowing capacity, prepare loan scenarios, and ensure submissions meet lender credit policies. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Australian lending guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Assessment & Servicing

Complete lender servicing calculations using various bank and non-bank servicing calculators.

Review client income, liabilities, expenses, assets, and supporting financial documents.

Assess borrower eligibility against lender credit policies and servicing requirements.

Calculate borrowing capacity and recommend suitable lending structures.

Identify credit risks and policy exceptions before loan submission.

Analyse PAYG, self-employed, trust, company, and investment income.

Broker Support

Prepare detailed broker notes and credit summaries.

Structure loan scenarios based on client objectives and lender policy.

Review Asset & Liability (A&L) statements for completeness and accuracy.

Assist brokers in preparing loan applications and supporting documentation.

Liaise with brokers regarding servicing outcomes and credit recommendations.

Lender Policy & Scenario Analysis

Research lender policies to determine the most suitable lending solution.

Compare residential, commercial, construction, and development lending options.

Prepare and submit scenarios to Business Development Managers (BDMs).

Stay informed of lender policy changes, product updates, and credit guidelines.

Recommend alternative lending solutions where appropriate.

Loan Submission & File Preparation

Prepare loan files for submission to banks and non-bank lenders.

Ensure all supporting documents meet lender requirements.

Assist with responding to credit assessor enquiries and More Information Required (MIR) requests.

Work closely with Loan Processors throughout the application lifecycle.

Maintain accurate CRM records and application notes.

Compliance & Administration

Ensure files comply with responsible lending obligations and internal processes.

Maintain organised digital records and documentation.

Assist in improving internal credit assessment processes and workflow efficiencies.

Support brokers with ongoing pipeline management and lender communication.

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in mortgage broking, loan processing, credit analysis, or broker support.

Strong understanding of Australian lender servicing calculators and credit policy.

Knowledge of residential, commercial, construction, and development lending is highly regarded.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Australian mortgage broking or credit support experience.

Residential, commercial, and development finance lending.

Servicing calculations and borrowing capacity analysis.

Australian lender credit policies and loan structuring.

CRM platforms such as Infynity, Mercury, ApplyOnline, NextGen, or similar broker systems.

Experience working with Australian banks, non-bank lenders, and private lenders.
