About the Role

We are looking for a Process Technician to support semiconductor process experiments, wafer preparation, equipment operation and process analysis. This role is suitable for candidates with a technical background who are interested in semiconductor manufacturing and laboratory process equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, clean and load wafers for process experiments.

Prepare and clean reactors before and after experiments.

Operate reactor equipment to perform thin film processes under supervision.

Conduct measurements and analysis to troubleshoot machine and process issues.

Prepare wafer cross-section samples for Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis.

Operate SEM for cross-section, top-view and Critical Dimension (CD) analysis.

Perform Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis and imaging when required.

Identify and evaluate patterns of interest from wafer and SEM results.

Record process conditions, measurements and experimental observations accurately.

Evaluate wafers and thin films based on process results.

Perform routine equipment maintenance, including flash and plasma cleaning.

Perform SEM system software alignment functions.

Operate laboratory process equipment and instrumentation safely and effectively.

Support assigned single-technology products and related process activities.

Requirements

Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology or a related discipline.

Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer processing, laboratory operations or process equipment is advantageous.

Basic understanding of SEM principles, wafer processing and thin film processes is preferred.

Comfortable working with technical equipment and laboratory instruments.

Good attention to detail with the ability to accurately record process data and observations.

Able to follow technical procedures, safety requirements and work instructions.

Willing to perform hands-on work in a semiconductor / cleanroom environment.
