Dayforce Application Specialist - $170k + Super - Fixed Term Contract - Hybrid - Melbourne South East & Work from home

We're partnering with a large, values-driven organisation undertaking significant investment in its people technology landscape. As they continue to enhance and optimise their Dayforce platform, they're looking for an experienced Dayforce Application Specialist to own configuration, system optimisation and continuous improvement across HR, Payroll and Workforce Management.

The Opportunity:

  • You'll become the internal SME for the Dayforce platform, ensuring it remains secure, reliable and continually evolving to meet business needs.
  • Working across HR, Payroll and Technology teams, you'll configure the platform, support users, deliver enhancements and help drive ongoing system improvements.
  • This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both technical configuration and partnering with stakeholders to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Dayforce across HR, Payroll and Workforce Management modules
  • Implement "Talent Acquisition" and "Dayforce Recruiting" modules
  • Manage workflows, business rules, security profiles and system configuration
  • Provide Level 2 application support and testing and resolve complex system issues
  • Perform data validation, auditing and system health checks
  • Lead testing for upgrades, releases and new functionality
  • Identify opportunities to improve system capability and user experience
  • Produce technical documentation and configuration standards

About You:

You'll bring strong enterprise application experience along with genuine Dayforce expertise.

  • Proven experience administering and configuring Dayforce
  • Strong understanding of HRIS, Payroll and Workforce Management systems including "Talent Acquisition" and "Dayforce Recruiting" modules
  • Experience with workflows, business rules, security and configuration
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting integrations and enterprise applications
  • Strong testing, documentation and change management capability
