About the Role
Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Permanent Full Time Security Officer to provide high-level customer service and emergency response for one of our Public Transport clients, working in a dual mobile patrol vehicle alongside a K9 handler.
This role operates across the Southside of Brisbane and requires availability to work Tuesday to Saturday, 8-hour shifts.
This is a dynamic role suited to a professional officer who enjoys working in a team environment and can confidently respond to incidents, alarms, and customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
- Full time position, Tuesday to Saturday 8hrs per shift (40hrs per week)
- Work effectively in a team alongside a K9 handler
- Provide a high level of security and customer service
- Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and calls for assistance
- Assess and respond to situations involving risk
- Perform access control duties
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate logs
- Support public transport safety operations as required
Skills & Experience
- Current Security Licence with crowd control
- Current Open Driver Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
- Ability to attend additional mandatory training each quarter (time paid)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presentation and customer service focus
- Ability to work rotating rosters including nights & weekends
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
