About the Role

Securecorp currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Permanent Full Time Security Officer to provide high-level customer service and emergency response for one of our Public Transport clients, working in a dual mobile patrol vehicle alongside a K9 handler.
This role operates across the Southside of Brisbane and requires availability to work Tuesday to Saturday, 8-hour shifts.

This is a dynamic role suited to a professional officer who enjoys working in a team environment and can confidently respond to incidents, alarms, and customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full time position, Tuesday to Saturday 8hrs per shift (40hrs per week)
  • Work effectively in a team alongside a K9 handler
  • Provide a high level of security and customer service
  • Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises
  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and calls for assistance
  • Assess and respond to situations involving risk
  • Perform access control duties
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate logs
  • Support public transport safety operations as required

Skills & Experience

  • Current Security Licence with crowd control
  • Current Open Driver Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
  • Ability to attend additional mandatory training each quarter (time paid)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and customer service focus
  • Ability to work rotating rosters including nights & weekends
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
