About The Role
As a Tyre Fitter working across various WA Goldfields mine sites. This position supports the safe and efficient operation of mining and civil equipment. The role involves fitting, maintenance, repair and replacement of tyres on a range of mobile plant and road trains across site operations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence
National Police Clearance - Recent of 3 months or willing to obtain one
Full Working Rights in Australia
Able to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol
Previous mining experience on mobile equipment and road trains / trailers
Strong knowledge of tyre maintenance, fault finding and repairs
Duties & Responsibilities
Fit, repair and maintain tyres on heavy mobile plant, including dump trucks, loaders, graders and dozers
Service and replace tyres on road trains, trailers and light vehicles as required
Conduct tyre inspections to identify wear, damage and potential safety hazards
Operate tyre handling equipment and service trucks while performing tyre rotations, wheel alignments and rim inspections
Maintain accurate tyre records and ensure compliance with site safety procedures, FIFO protocols and operational standards
