Our client is a well established Australian business operating within the building and construction products industry, supplying quality products and solutions to customers across Australia.
With a strong reputation for service, reliability and industry expertise, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Customer & Sales Support professional to join their team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of customer enquiries from start to finish.
Working closely with the Customer Service, Internal Sales and External Sales teams, you will be responsible for customer enquiries, order processing, invoicing, back orders, freight enquiries and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries via phone and email, providing professional and timely support
• Process customer orders, amendments, credits and invoices accurately through SAP
• Provide customers with product, pricing, stock and delivery information
• Manage back orders and proactively communicate changes or delays
• Follow up freight and delivery issues with transport providers and internal teams
• Support customers with the company's B2B online ordering platform
• Assist the sales team with orders, quotations, pricing and customer requests
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and customer issues
• Maintain accurate customer and order information in SAP
• Provide general administration, reporting and sales support as required

About you
We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in customer service, internal sales or sales support
• Confident communicating with customers over the phone and email
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership
• A clear and confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively
• Experienced in order processing, invoicing or logistics/customer delivery enquiries is highly regarded
