ANZUK Education is seeking passionate Special Needs Teachers (Autism) for casual opportunities in specialist schools across Melbourne’s Bayside and South Eastern suburbs, with current demand in the Bentleigh and Moorabbin areas.

The schools we support have students with a range of intellectual, physical, and emotional disabilities and focus on helping each student achieve their individual potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with small class sizes (6-10 students per class)
  • Be supported by teaching assistants and experienced staff
  • Join inclusive and well-resourced specialist school environments
  • Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives

Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

Skills & experience
To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience working with children with Autism (preferred but not essential)
  • A passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Understanding of special education and disabilities
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy

Requirements

  • Must hold a current VIT registration (or in progress)
  • Recent teaching experience (outlined in CV)
  • Two professional referees (principal-class or mentors accepted for graduates)
  • Working rights in Australia
