Our client is a leading real estate investment manager specialising in industrial, commercial and retail property investment. About the Role
This opportunity will allow you to work directly with the Head of Legal & Company Secretary on a number of key deliverables within Compliance, Risk and Corporate Governance. You will be given the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting board and committee meeting administration including preparing board packs, agendas, meeting minutes etc
  • Aid in company secretarial processes, including ASIC lodgements and management of entities.
  • Support the maintenance of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
  • Manage training and continuing professional development programs.
  • Support regulatory compliance activities across the business, including compliance monitoring, obligations management, regulatory reporting, AML/CTF compliance, and state-based licensing requirements.
  • Maintain key compliance registers, calendars, policies, procedures and governance records.

Key Requirements will include:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a relevant role within a relevant governance, company secretarial, compliance, risk or legal role in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of supporting boards and committees, corporate governance, entity management, compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, risk management or legal operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business
  • A proactive, adaptable and commercially minded approach with strong judgement, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Governance, Risk, Business (desirable) or professional or practical experience in a related discipline, combined with a passion for learning, technology and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
