About the Opportunity

As 2IC, you are part of the driving force behind the branch. You lead from the front, not from a back office, working alongside your team on the floor where the action happens.

You’ll help set the standard for our Trade Quality reputation, ensuring the store is highly stocked, highly efficient, and delivering the best possible experience for every tradie who walks through the door. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where strong leadership, commercial thinking, and a genuine understanding of the trade/customer mindset are essential.

You’ll also play a key role in growing the local trade base, building relationships, and turning opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + Super

The Role
You will take ownership of overall branch performance, including:

• Driving Sales Growth – Leading sales activity and identifying new trade and business opportunities in the local market
• Team Leadership – Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing team culture
• Account Management – Strengthening relationships with key trade customers to drive repeat business and loyalty
• Operational Excellence – Managing stock levels, merchandising standards, and day-to-day store operations to ensure a seamless customer experience

What you’ll bring

• Leadership experience in retail, trade, or high-volume environments, with proven team development capability
• Strong sales capability with a consistent record of achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets
• Operational understanding including stock control, inventory management, and retail presentation standards
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term business
• Flexibility to work within a 7-day trading environment, including one weekend day as required
