Our client is a respected local manufacturer located in Melbourne's northern suburbs. Driven by business growth, short-term opportunities have arisen in their product development team for experienced automotive engineers with a chassis, body interior or body exterior backgrounds. In this role, working as part of the team, you will be expected to:
• Project manage chassis, body interior or body exterior commodities to quality, cost and timing business requirements
• Conduct detailed design to corporate and regulatory standards
• Drive quality through a structured DFMEA / DVP process
• Manage the implementation of these commodities through product launch

So, if you are:
• A professional engineer with around 5 years post graduate experience in automotive product development roles.
• Ideally with chassis or body exterior commodity experience
• Knowledgeable in the use of design quality planning tools
• Focused on a high customer service ethic, with a strong ability to communicate
• Strong in problem solving ability and initiative
• Results orientated and strong in attention to detail
• Used to leveraging your excellent organisational skills
