Join the High voltage Power Plant team at Sino Iron and be part of one of the largest integrated mining operations in Australia.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician - HV to support the operation and maintenance of our transmission and distribution power networks.
About the Role
This is a permanent 2/1 FIFO position from Perth to Cape Preston (day shift roster).
You will be responsible for:
- HV switching and network operations
- Operation and maintenance of HV equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics on power systems
- Supporting reliable power generation and distribution
- Identifying improvements to plant systems and processes
- Ensuring safe operation of high voltage infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
To be successful you will have:
- Electrical Trade Qualification (Essential)
- High Voltage Switching Ticket
- Experience in HV switching, isolation and operational procedures
- Knowledge of HV switchgear, transformers and protection systems
- Minimum 3 years power network operations or maintenance experience
- Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence
