About the role
CHL CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced M&E Coordinator to join their team in Singapore. As a M&E Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems are seamlessly integrated and functioning as intended.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems on construction sites
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure all M&E works are carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all M&E activities
Collaborate with the design team to resolve any design-related issues that arise during construction
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as an M&E Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Singapore
