About the Client
South32 together with WorkPac are commencing recruitment for Operators to promote the equality of its workforce at Groote Eylandt Mining Company (GEMCO) in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Successful candidates will be FIFO from Darwin on a 7/7 Roster and be fully committed to a rewarding career in the Mining industry
What you will be doing
As a member of the GEMCO Production team, you will be operating equipment such as Dozer D10, Grader 16M, Loader 992/3 and/or Excavator Hitachi 2500
You will work 12.25hr shifts on a 7/7 roster (7 on, 7 off) and work both Day and Night shifts
Meet KPI targets within the Manganese Ore production environment
Apply an ongoing commitment to safety and positive onsite culture
What you will need
Must have a minimum of 3 years mine site experience. Specifically on equipment such as Dozer D10/D11, Grader 14/16/24, Loader 992/3 and/or Excavator 2500
A current HR licnece
The ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
