About the role

We are seeking experienced Earthmoving Plant Operators to join our team at Bajara Plant Hire Pty Ltd to work on multiple large-scale projects throughout Brisbane including the Victoria Park Olympics early works.

Particularly, we are seeking operators with the following skills:

Dozer GPS (Bulk Earthworks)

Grader GPS (Final Trim)

Excavator GPS (Bulk Earthworks & Final Trim)

Articulated Water Cart

Articulated Dump Truck

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and maintain equipment to a high standard

Working efficiently, and following site instructions

Showcasing your experience and offering support where needed

Carry out pre-start checks and basic maintenance on assigned machinery

Communicate effectively with the site foreman and other construction workers to complete tasks efficiently

Adhere to all safety regulations and site procedures

Assist with loading and unloading of plant equipment as required

What we're looking for

Operators with experience with excavators, graders, dozers, articulated dump trucks, articulated water trucks and loaders. GPS experience will be highly regarded. Non-GPS operators are encouraged to apply

Minimum 3 years' experience as an earthmoving plant operator, with at least 2 years in civil construction

Formal qualifications (RII Ticket) in operating relevant earthmoving equipment, such as an RII Excavator ticket.

Understanding of construction site safety procedures and a commitment to workplace health and safety

Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with others on site

Reliability and a can-do attitude to get the job done

Current Construction White Card and valid Australian driver's licence

Must have permanent Australian work rights or appropriate visa to work in Queensland
